Wah Gwaan? I am Kelly-Joe (KJ), the beautiful face behind the KJ Cosmetics Co brand. I was born and raised in Jamaica and it has always been a dream of mine to own a cosmetics business that was not only birthed from my roots but embodied who I am as a person and what I believe in! I love wearing makeup and I can easily rock a full face beat BUT I am most comfortable when I am wearing just a simple lip gloss, mascara and my signature cat-eye! I love simple makeup & skincare that is not too much and with no fuss.
You may also see some of the product names and see that they are of a different spelling but I just had to incorporate my Jamaican self into my brand (can you blame me?). I actually had fun creating the names as they are literally how us Jamaicans pronounce these very words and I figured it is a great way for you to experience a bit of my culture or should I say our Patois.
